Uniweb is operated by Proximify (“Proximify,” “we,” “us,” “our”) and this Privacy Policy applies to our role as the service provider and operator of the Uniweb platform. We do not access, use, or share the content you create or upload (such as content profiles, files, and websites) except as necessary to operate the service, provide support at your request, or comply with legal obligations. 7. Retention and Disposal of Personal Information

  • Content profiles, files, and websites you create or upload to Uniweb remain available until you choose to delete them, or your account is closed. You may delete individual content at any time through your account, and we will remove it from our active systems, subject to legal, operational, or backup retention obligations.

  • Billing and transaction records are retained for up to 7 years after your account is closed, as required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

  • Log and usage data may be retained for up to 90 days after account closure to ensure platform security, diagnose issues, and improve our services

We may retain backup copies of your personal information for up to 30 days as part of our disaster recovery and business continuity processes. These backups are securely stored and automatically deleted after the retention period expires.

When personal information is no longer required, we will securely delete, anonymize, or de-identify it in accordance with our data disposal policies and applicable laws. Specific retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable legal requirements. Please note that deleting your content or account does not remove any copies cached or archived by third parties, including search engines, or individuals who previously accessed or downloaded the content.

8. Safeguards

Uniweb is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leading cloud provider with extensive security certifications, including SOC 1/2/3, ISO 27001, ISO 27017 ISO 27018, and ISO 27701. This helps ensure that your personal information is stored securely and reliably.

We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement a variety of measures to protect it from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These measures include:

  • Technical safeguards, such as encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure servers, role-based access controls, automated threat detection, regular security updates, and continuous security monitoring.

  • Administrative safeguards, including employee training, role-based access restrictions, internal policies governing data handling, and regular access reviews and audits

  • Physical safeguards, such as secure facilities and access controls to our office and data centre environments

Access to your personal information is limited to authorized personnel who require it to perform their duties. Our service providers are also required to protect personal information through appropriate security measures and contractual obligations.
